We’re looking for the passionate YOU! The You that not only loves writing but is passionate about women’s issues. You like to focus on the positive. You have a strong voice, and write from a power presence, that drives you to be a better human every day, and it drives you to make women’s lives better, even in the smallest ways.
Your editor will assign you topics to write about (business, tech, politics, etc.) based on what is important for the magazine at that time. You are also encouraged to write about what you’re passionate about, as long as it fits within the magazine’s mission and scope.
This could lead to a paid job offer at the end of the internship for the right candidate.
Minimum requirements:
-You’re written a blog, or articles, or essay papers for your classes in college. We’d like to see some writing samples.
-You’re a woman!
-You’re working on, or have finished a degree in Publishing / Journalism / English / Psychology / Communication / Marketing / Business / Sciences / Arts

If you’re here, you know we’re producing a quarterly magazine. If you’re interested in associating with a magazine that works hard at promoting women’s voices and would like to get on the ground level, now is the time to join us. We’re looking for a graphic designer with some experience in either ebook layout and/or magazine layout.
Minimum requirements:
-Knowledge of Abode products: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. We’d love to see what you’re proud of. Send us some samples of your work

We’re looking for the passionate YOU! The You that not only loves writing but is passionate about women’s issues. You like to focus on the positive. You have a strong voice, and come up with great ideas on how to spread the message.
Your main responsibilities are propagating the original content we’re publishing weekly via our social media channels, as well as engage with social media influencers and invite them to join our conversation. Our articles, our podcasts, our videos need to be shared with our existing audience, as well as engage new readers to subscribe to our podcast/quarterly magazine/newsletter and join us on our social media channels.
We will teach you what is relevant, what conversations matter and which do not. We’ll give you the skills and tools to graduate quickly out of the “intern” post, and into a full-time job as a Social Media Coordinator.
This could lead to a paid job offer from us, at the end of the internship for the right candidate.
Minimum requirements:

-You know your way around all the main social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Google+
